Attack The Day w/ Uncle P

Episode 1 Show Notes

Building From Scratch While Trying to Love

In the first episode of Attack The Day Podcast, Uncle P talks about one of the hardest realities of entrepreneurship: trying to build your future while also maintaining a healthy relationship.

This episode explores the difference between loving someone and actually having the capacity to show up for them. Uncle P breaks down the pressure of starting from scratch, the sacrifices that come with the building season, the importance of communication, and why purpose should never become an excuse for neglect.

In This Episode:

  • Building a business while building yourself
  • Love vs. emotional capacity
  • The pressure entrepreneurs carry
  • Communication during busy seasons
  • Accountability in relationships
  • Supporting someone without accepting neglect
  • Knowing when it may not be your relationship season
  • Why everybody wants the house, but few understand the construction site

Questions to Think About:

Do you actually have the capacity for a relationship right now?

Are you communicating clearly with the person you love?

Are you building something meaningful, or simply staying busy?

Can the person beside you truly handle your building season?

Quote From The Episode:

“Some people want the house. Very few understand the blueprint.”

About the Podcast

Attack The Day
**Attack The Day Podcast with Uncle P** is about waking up every day and intentionally taking control of your life before life takes control of you. Hosted by Jean-Pierre “Uncle P” Brice, each episode brings real conversations about purpose, accountability, relationships, entrepreneurship, healing, discipline, fatherhood, community, personal growth, and the uncomfortable lessons that come with becoming a better version of yourself. This isn’t a podcast about pretending life is perfect. Uncle P speaks from lived experience, mistakes, losses, lessons, rebuilding, and growth. The goal is simple: give listeners something they can think about, apply to their own lives, and carry with them throughout the day. Some conversations will motivate you. Some will challenge you. Some might make you uncomfortable. But every conversation is designed to push one question: **What are you going to do differently today?** You woke up breathing. You woke up blessed. Now it’s time to **Attack The Day on purpose with purpose.** **Attack The Day Before the Day Attacks You.** If nobody told you today, I Love You. ❤️

Attack The Day with Uncle P is more than a podcast. It’s a daily reminder that waking up is an opportunity to choose purpose, discipline, accountability, healing, and growth.

I’m Jean-Pierre “Uncle P” Brice, founder of CMPRadio.Net, father, community advocate, mentor, entrepreneur, and a man who has lived enough life to know that becoming better does not happen by accident.

I created Attack The Day because I know what it feels like to go through hard seasons, lose people you love, make mistakes, rebuild yourself, question your direction, and still have to get up the next morning and keep moving.

This podcast is where I talk about the things life really teaches us: relationships, accountability, grief, discipline, purpose, community, healing, fatherhood, personal growth, and learning how to become the person your future requires.

I’m not speaking from a place of perfection. I’m speaking from experience.

Some days we need motivation. Other days we need the truth. And sometimes we need somebody to remind us that surviving yesterday does not mean we have to live today the same way.

That is why I do Attack The Day.

I want people to stop waiting for life to change and start participating in their own transformation. I want every episode to leave somebody thinking differently, moving differently, loving differently, and taking responsibility for what comes next.

Because every morning you get another opportunity.

You woke up breathing, you woke up blessed. Now it’s time to Attack The Day on purpose with purpose.

Attack The Day Before the Day Attacks You.

If nobody told you today, I Love You. ❤️
